Eric and the Norsemen "Live at the Red Dog Inn"

The newest Eric and the Norsemen CD is a live recording from 1968 at the legendary Red Dog Inn in Lawrence, Kansas. This show was by the band's final line-up, with Frank Berrier (bass, guitar and vocals) and Mitch Bible (Hammond organ, guitar and vocals), joining Roger, Mike and Jim. The CD is priced at $15.00 and contains 24 songs, including "Purple Haze" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." It was released by Amber Waves in November 2007 and has just been made available for purchase on our website. Eric and the Norsemen "Get It On" (CD) (Amber Waves 2006)

Roger, Mike, Tree and Jim rock out on their rare 1967 unreleased live album. Only one copy of the original album was still known to exist when, in 2005, the original Audio House tapes and several of the band's personal tapes were rediscovered. This CD was mastered from the original tapes and released in 2006 for the band's induction into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. It contains all the songs from the live album plus 14 additional recordings - 26 songs in all on 21 tracks - including the Norsemen Theme, Opening Medley, and several Norsemen originals. Some of the additional songs feature the band's final line-up, with Frank and Mitch joining Roger, Mike and Jim. "Get It On / Scotch and Soda" (45) (Chrome Records 1967)

This is the only 45 single released by Eric and the Norsemen. Most existing copies are held by collectors, but copies can sometimes be found for sale on eBay.
"Eric and the Norsemen Live"
(LP) (Audio House 1966)

This is an unreleased live studio album recorded at Audio House studio in Lawrence, Kansas. Five acetates were pressed; only one is currently known to exist. After 39 years, the master tapes have been discovered and are being burned to a CD which will be sold at the Kansas Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony on March 18, 2006.

In 2000, the Norsemen's theme showed up on a compilation lp in Italy, " Let's Dig'Em Up, Vol. 2" (lp) (No Tyme Records, Italy 2000)

The 1967 Norsemen single was included on a compilation lp called "The Garage Zone Vol. 1 " (lp) (1985) and in "The Garage Zone Box Set" (lp) (Limited Edition of 250 copies)

"Eric and the Norsemen"
(DVD 2005)

A transfer of the 2004 vhs tape to DVD. There are only a few copies in the possession of the band members and friends. A remastered version will be available at the 2006 Induction Ceremony at the Kansas Music Hall of Fame.

"The Wildest Show in the Midwest"
(VHS 2004)

Home movies of Eric and the Norsemen from 1965 through 1968 accompanied by the music from the unreleased Audio House album "Eric and the Norsemen Live" and the Chrome 45 single "Get It On / Scotch and Soda." This tape has never been sold publicly and is extremely rare. It has been traded by a few collectors.
